Partnership with GW Apiary Yields a Limited Edition Amaro

Farmers Restaurant Group is delighted to announce that Founding Spirits has just released our very first GW Limited Edition Founding Spirits Amaro.

Distillery Director Jon Arroyo took our quadruple award-winning Arroyo’s “Never Bitter” Amaro and made a special batch with our very own honey from an apiary we support atop The George Washington University in downtown Washington, D.C.

This GW Limited Edition Founding Spirits Amaro can be purchased online for a limited time, while supplies last.

Our latest take on our amaro was inspired by our very special partnership with The George Washington University Undergraduate Honey Bee Research Laboratory and Apiary. Partners for over five years, this past spring, we helped install six new hives, and just this fall, we helped harvest the honey that we used in this special, limited edition amaro.

We are always looking for ways to honor the honey bee and educate people on their importance to the diversity of our food supply. Our GW Limited Edition Founding Spirits Amaro is one tasty way you can enjoy our efforts and another way to celebrate the magic of the honey bee.
