Farmers & Distillers Mixes Spirits to Raise Funds for St. Jude
Last night, Farmers & Distillers joined 600 guests and dozens of local restaurants at the 19th annual St. Jude Gourmet Gala at the National Building Museum in downtown Washington, D.C.
Our participation included tastes from our very own DC distillery, Founding Spirits. Distillery Director, Jon Arroyo, and Distillery Manager, Bob VanLancker, served one of our favorites.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has hosted this fundraising event at the National Building Museum for ten years running. The lively evening features restaurant and cocktail tastings from DC’s top restaurants, a rousing live auction, and a premiere silent auction. Last year’s event raised over $1.16M for the kids of St. Jude.
Located in Memphis, TN, the mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases, including cancer, through groundbreaking research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of Founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family’s ability to pay.
